Yes, we have all the insurance coverages required by the Condominium Act 1998 and a current valid insurance certificate is available to all potential new clients for inspection. Our company's license is displayed on our website and is also clearly visible on our person when we visit your site, along with our individual licenses. We comply with all new legislation in regards to our qualifications and actions, and we specialize in helping condo corporations stay or become compliant with all the new requirements. It's really not as confusing as it may seem.

No. We are a licensed condominium Management services provider in Ontario. We help condo corporations manage their day-to-day operations and assist them with budgets, future planning and coordinate repair/replacement of their shared elements. We work with Condo Boards, Owners, Engineers, Lawyers and all kinds of Contractors. Everyone who your condo needs to work with. We also help boards of directors communicate with residents and solve problems.
First step is to self-educate yourself and your like-minded neighbours. There is mandatory training for all Condo directors in Ontario, including the ones who are on your board. It's available on the CAO website:

You do not have to be a director to take this training, and it is free. We highly recommend all owners take it, even if they never want to become a director. It will help you understand a bit about the main rules that govern the actions of a Board and of Managers in all condominiums province wide, and might give some insight into the duties of the current board and management. You might find once you know your way around that you're better represented than you previously thought.
If you look online, you can find lots of other training resources and case studies from the condo industry. The best way to get the advice you seek is to become the expert, or at least, educate yourself with the basics.
If you still feel change is necessary, you are now armed with the proper information to run for a seat on the board, or to support the candidate(s) who best represents your views at your next election, and become involved in the change you desire.

To give you an idea of how the estimate procedure works, for big corporations, we calculate our rates based on an assessment of the property and condition of the corporation and the number of units. For smaller corporations, we have all-inclusive solutions that start as low as $1200/month. By unit, this might actually seem high for only 10 units, but considering condo timelines don't differentiate between small and large corporations, some small corporations sometimes need just as much attention (or more) than the big ones, and there's a price attached to quality service from a professional management company. We don't compete against time-intensive novice companies who want to use your account to learn condo management.
